Spendthrift i tend to spend compulsively whenever my skin condition is in a bad state.. a few hundred bucks poorer with juz a few clicks~ skincare from dermalogica & 'my beauty diary' masks.. (receive stila eye shadow as free gift)  and i signed up a facial package with Bella..  i dislike going out these days.. kinda self conscious in public places.. :( abit off topic, but still related to my post title.. coachy wristlet from my compulsive shopper pal.. (she is a greater spendthrift than me!) love it! thanks dearie reggie :)

pimples or rashes? my complexion is in a very bad state now.. not sure if its due to my weeks of terrible emotional weather and sleeplessness.. or becoz i juz switched to a new brand of skincare, and it doesnt suit me.. my face itches badly now :(

life's simple joys of a house frau (pics heavy) im doing my laundry as i typed these..  a pic of my balcony i took more than an hour ago.. soon it'll be packed with my fluffy floormats, bedsheets n a load of laundry from the week.. waiting to dry under the afternoon sun.. appreciate the many texted msgs of concern in regards to my earlier posts.. we'll take heart that no matter how tough the journey may lie ahead for us, we'll hang on strong with faith.. and for as long as i can spend my lazy afternoons in my cozy, clean home as a housewife, and take good care of the daily necessities of my dearest hubby, there'll be a reason for me to smile n be thankful for.. alright, the purpose of this entry is to display the pics of our humble nest which i promised many to do so way before our housewarming.. but lazy me has been procrastinating and in fact i only managed to take pics of our home on the day of our housewarming after all our friends left.. (all pics taken on the night of our housewarming b4 cleaning up the house, so pardon the mess.. and most pics r pretty dark as i took without flash.) shall start off with the balcony since i was at it juz a min ago..  the balcony pre-reno..  this is where we placed our buffet tables for our guests.. had wanted to make our balcony a cozy leisure corner for us.. but as our unit faces the main road and with the constant strong wind n dust, we decided to leave it empty for now and use it solely for laundry drying purposes in the day time.. had the louvered blinds installed not too long ago to minimise the impact of dust.  the main entrance pre-reno.. (household shelter on the left)  now with shoes cabinet (one of the black doors leads to household shelter) n dark brown floor tiles..  kitchen pre-reno..  now with side louvered window removed, yard door & wall hacked.. window fitted at yard..  on the fridge door.. full collection of the "Hello Kitty 31st Anniversary" magnets  laminated kitchen top replaced with solid top.. n additional cabinet built at original designated fridge area to house my oven etc..   living room pre-reno..    optional study area beside living room built up to form a small bedroom..  a clearer view of the little bedroom..  living n dining area.. hv panel blinds instead of curtains at the balcony sliding door for easy maintenance.. thou i agree curtains may add some coziness to the living room..  more storage cabinets at the dining area.. & our simple altar with more storage space..  walkway to bedroom - pre-reno..  left entrance: common toilet 1st right entrance: il's room 2nd right entrance: our study cum entertainment room and we sealed up the original mbr entrance (the piece of wall where our photoframe is now)..   common toilet.. no reno works done.. apart from the auto-close mechanism on the door as suggested by our feng shui master..  il's room pre-reno  more storage cabinets on baywindow.. bed frame - in progress  feature wall for a 26" (too dark to be seen) & a small dresser..  our study cum entertainment room pre-reno (with wardrobe at left of pic)  the same cabinets on baywindow..  customised work area for hubby (& msn-ing area for me) feature wall & tv consol for our 32" (too dark to be seen in the pic)  the original walkdrobe from the developer was hacked away.. and the same spot now accomodates a door linking to our mbr..  view from doorway.. (love the laminate of my door.. the exact one for my living room tv feature wall n shoes cabinet, but in black) left: my dresser, walk-in wardrobe & masterbath right: our cozy bed  mbr pre-reno thats the wardrobes from the developer.. and we've hacked away 2 of them.. the one in the il's room is intact..  our cozy bed.. with 2 tiny side tables and cushiony baywindow for our stuffies..  my walk-in is right behind the wall where we hang our wedding pic.. thats also where the original wardrobe was.. on the left is the master toilet..  my walk-in wardrobe.. open concept on the left.. with sliding doors on the right..  my dressing area.. directly opposite the walk-in.. (my dresser has the same white flowery laminate) pre-reno, it was a short walkway within the mbr..  lastly, the master bathroom..  where no reno works is done.. all false ceiling works done according to the hubby's requirements.. which i kinda regretted, esp for the bedrooms.. cant imagine the amount of dust trapped up there over time.. but the ambience created is indeed soothing at night.. off to hang my laundry n prepare lunch for myself..

pinky is gone so much for wanting to blog abt happy stuffs.. sighs.. i lost my hp slightly more than an hr ago.. i presumed i must hv left my hp aside while browsing thru some stuffs for hubby.. only realised when i approached the cashier to make payment.. i re-traced my steps but pinky is gone.. went to the customer service counter to report my loss.. the lady immediately called my nos but the hp was off.. most likely it has been taken.. only have my carelessness to blame.. promptly suspended my phone line.. shd b receiving my new sim card tmr by courier.. thus i'll remain uncontactable by hp till tmr.. reached home n called my parents to inform them abt it.. dad consoled me "不要难过，就当做是破财消灾。。" rang up hubby to relate to him wat happened.. but i ended up in tears.. i cried not becoz im sad over my loss.. i juz realised the recent string of unhappy events hv been too much for me to take it.. and my carelessness today only proved how preoccupied my current state of mind is.. i juz wan our days to be at peace, no more big or small mishap.. is this too much to ask for? 破财若真能消灾最好。。
